I tried toasting my Raw Red Onion Pizza Crust that I make for our Cafe.. IT WAS AMAZING!!! wowee… definitely gonna have that again.. Paleo Pizza’s here we come 🙂
Whole 30 is an experiment for me.. I am the girl who loves raw food… I am a better person eating raw.. I am seeking to find the right balance of raw and cooked.. sometimes i feel terrible when eating cooked food. I’m still in the process of working out/learning about myself for the right balance.. so this is where Whole 30 comes in for me…
I am determined to make peace with food. To use it as fuel and not emotional support.. it’s a journey i’ve been on for a long time. A journey I will not give up on… I know that Whole 30 will take me further along the path i seek. I know that Whole 30 is health.i.er. I believe in the whole-foods approach to clean eating.
I have discovered that every single person is different and ‘one size does not fit all’.
We need the courage to be different.
We need the courage to give ourselves permission to ‘be’ who we are and ‘do’ what we need to do.
My goal is to be the best me I can. I feel like I’m not there yet and I attribute that to my food journey.. it’s like the last frontier for me..
So this is my WHY! This is why I work so hard creating better food at our Cafe.. This is WHY I labour with raw food.. this is WHY I am always learning and eager to discover the unknown about myself.. so that I can keep growing and keep evolving into a better me 🙂
